Health supplements are a large part of many people’s daily lives. Whether it is a multi-vitamin or a diet pill, many people take some sort of nutritional supplement. Below are some of the most popular, all natural ingredients that people take either individually or in a composite supplement.

One of the most popular health supplements right now is the acai berry. It is full of antioxidants, dietary fiber, and omega fatty acids. Numerous scientific studies have shown that antioxidants are very beneficial because they neutralize free radicals that destroy health cells in your body. There are also many health benefits for taking dietary fiber and omega fatty acid supplements.

Hoodia is another popular health supplement. Hoodia is a cactus that grows in South Africa which has been used for centuries by the local people as an appetite suppressant. It is now a popular weight loss supplement around the world both when mixed with other ingredients like acai berries or by itself.

Green tea is a metabolism booster that you may want to try. Green tea, either as an extract or as a tea, may help boost your metabolism to burn more calories to help you lose weight. Green tea is also available by itself or combined with other ingredients in popular diet pills.

A relative newcomer to the health supplement market is resveratrol. It is another antioxidant and comes from the skin of red grapes and products made from red grapes like red wine and grape juice. It is also found in peanuts, blueberries, and cranberries. The main reason people take resveratrol is for its potential anti aging properties.

A few more popular, all natural, ingredients in health supplements are chromium polynicotinate, garcina cambogia, and gymnema sylvestre. Chromium Polynicotinate and Gymnema Sylvestre are used for their blood sugar stabilizing properties. Garcina Cambogia is used as an appetite suppressant. There are countless other ingredients that people use to help improve their health, but these are some of the most popular.
