The doctor will tell you that you have to come back for a checkup but then afterwards you should be able to have your vision back. Lasik surgery usually lasts for about ten years before the procedure has to be done again, but if you think about it, that is a long time before you have to go back for any more procedures to be done. When you think of all of the hassles of glasses and the expenses of contacts, it only makes sense to get Lasik done. If you spread the cost over the ten years that it works, it comes out to about the same price as your annoying contacts.
