There are herbal alternatives to reduce anxiety which include valerian and St John’s worts. Both of these remedies can help soothe away feelings on tension and anxiousness. St John’s worts is used to treat mild anxiety and depression, and is prescribed by doctors in some countries. Herbal remedies can be bought from health shops and pharmacies. Although herbal remedies are considered safer and non-addictive, sufferers should not rely on them to cure panic attacks.
