You may have heard of rose essential oil but if you have ever come across white rose essential oil you will probably notice its much higher price. This is because true white rose essential oil is very hard to come by. Besides its advantageous properties to health it is extremely valuable in terms of its fragrance ability.
You will find that pure blends of this essential oil are very intense and that a little goes a long way. Just as ordinary rose essential oil can be difficult to handle when too much is used this too can seem almost pungent when too much is used.
Rare White Rose Essential Oil For Perfume Blends
When you decide to blend white rose essential oil with other essential oils you need to be very careful about how much white rose you use. Too much white rose will result in an unbalanced blend that will smell mostly of white rose.
You may blend it with other oils that traditionally complement the more commonly found rose essential oil. Try lemon-grass, mandarin, sandalwood, and frankincense when creating a new scent for white rose essential oil.
Skin Care
Just as rose essential oil is used to treat problematic skin you may also use white rose essential oil for this purpose. Remember that you cannot apply essential oil directly to the skin. For this purpose you will need a cream or lotion to use the essential oil on your skin. You will probably only need a concentration of 1%, experiment to find the right concentration.
To create a luxurious bath you may want to add about two or three drops of white rose essential oil to a few tablespoons of cream and mix this into your bath. This will definitely make you feel like a queen. It can also be a very pleasant way to unwind after a long and stressful day. It is not advisable to add white rose oil to honey for a bath as you may be used to doing. The smell will be too overpowering.
Ultimately this essential oil is best used as a perfume or as a component to a selection of oils to make a perfume. It is very beneficial in creating a calming atmosphere and may be also used as an aphrodisiac. Releasing this scent into a room via a vaporizer or burner can create a very romantic atmosphere. Again it cannot be stressed enough that less is definitely more with this particular essential oil.
