There are people who simply refuse to use any type of medication other than what they consider to be pure alternative health care. This means they want to use natural remedies or treatment such as colon cleanse as opposed to what is known otherwise as western medicine. Alternative is a tough word for some, because such practices are things/practise that were used long before any type of western medicine was practiced. However, natural remedies are still regarded as alternative in the US.
A popluar form of alternative health is acupuncture. Such form of treatment has been used long ago to cure just about anything. Small needles are pierce into the body near pressure points and are meant to open and faciliate the flow of energy through the body. The smooth flow of these energies are tightly couple with illness. Those that underwent alternative health will swear by the effectiveness. Some even use the treatment for addictions such as drinking and smoking.
Alternative health may also imply using natural herb to cure. But you need to be careful. Natural does not imply safe all the time. If you are on medication, you should consult your doctore before going on any alternate treatment. This is because natural herbs can cause reaction with your medicine. You do not want to try anything that could further harm you rather than helping you. Never stop your medication unless your doctor say so.
You can certainly on your own, learn about and practice natural health remedies.But you do need to know what you are doing. That imply you need to ding people who is quality enough to guide you.If you are treating your loved ones, then you should really make sure you know what you are doing. Alternative health practices can be very effective, but just like any other medicine, you have to still be careful.
